“This is the interpretation of the notorious legend in the steampunk way. Icarus overestimated his abilities and decided to achieve the pick – to fly to the sun as close as it is possible. Unfortunately, it was not for him to reach the celestial body and he fell in the depth of ocean. The same we see here, on this illustration with one amendment – the wings of Icarus remind some innovative mechanism and he himself has rather up to date appearance.”
